What is it with the British weather at this time of year? Outside it looks warm and sunny, so you go out in a t-shirt, then the sun goes behind a cloud and the next thing you know it’s snowing!
I find layering at this time of year is key and a lightweight sweatshirt or knit is perfect for the transitional period. Here are three tops I’m wearing this spring, the Topman ones have just gone into the sale so go quick if you want them!
Nude Textured Jumper by Topman – I love how the raglan sleeves continue across the shoulder to the neck with no seams – it’s a good trick to make the shoulders look broader.
Premium Navy & Grey Slim Fit Jumper – Topman. This is from their Premium range and contains Merino wool so it feels nice on and isn’t itchy like some wool jumpers can be. I love the sporty panels on the arms and although it’s very thin it will keep you warm on a chilly day. I think this would also look great tucked into trousers for a more formal look.
This jumper is a vintage piece my sister picked up for me. It’s actually the St Michael brand that some of you may remember M&S owned, but they discontinued it in the year 2000 so that shows how old it is! I don’t wear much colour so I probably wouldn’t have picked this out myself but I love it!
Let me know which of these is your favourite!
